The BRANSIST alexa incorporates all Shimadzu’s technical expertise to provide the
right solution. BRANSIST alexa features a 12” flat panel detector (FPD) with a field
of view covering the patient’s entire body from the abdomen to the head region to
support cardiovascular interventions and interventions in the lower extremities.
Real-time high-speed image processing ensures excellent image quality, while reducing
the exposure dose to the patient. The total system design eliminates stress on the
staff performing interventions.The BRANSIST alexa is the optimal multipurpose system
which meets all of today’s requirements to provide total support for advanced catheterization
procedures.

12” field of view FPD is key to a multipurpose system
The BRANSIST alexa multi-purpose system has been designed for interventions over
the entire body, e.g. cardiac and brain blood vessels, and peripheral blood vessels
in the lower extremities. Outstanding features and components are provided as standard,
such as the 12 x 12-inch field size FPD, the SUREengine high-speed image processing
engine for interventions, and a software for cardiac function analysis. The BRANSIST
alexa combines brilliant image quality with sophisticated functions, such as real-time
DSA and roadmapping.

The C-arm extends the operator’s body
Quick positioning, precise re-positioning, easy operation, and adequate performance
to support the procedures are key needs the C-arm must meet during interventions.
The BRANSIST alexa controller device ensures fast and intuitive operation of the
C-arm and makes it an extended arm of the operator.
