Title: New developments in high resolution LC-MS/MS QTOF pesticide analysis from screening to quantitation with DIA and HR-MRM workflows

High resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) Q-TOF LC-MS/MS has been applied to several challenging matrices to explore the added value of HRMS in food safety. In this workshop we describe the development of an untargeted DIA approach capable of quantitation and library screening. To explore HR technology further we have also developed a novel HR-MRM approach to quantitation. The optimized selective fragment ion method resulted in higher reference ion signal intensities and generated lower limits of quantitation. For some components and food commodities the MRM mode also generated a greater selectivity for some target pesticides.
