"We have used Shimadzu analytical instruments for more than 10 years. The Shimadzu HPLC and MS systems have been the core of our analytical platform and have helped us to deliver high quality compounds to support our drug discovery services. When purifying our DNA encoded oligonucleotide-building block conjugates, we use ion pairing reagents in our buffers. We also use regular mobile phases such as acetonitrile and formic acid to address the analytical needs for other compound classes. Shimadzu HPLC and MS systems can easily switch between ion-pairing and regular reversed phase conditions. The switches have been surprisingly fast and easy, and the mass spectra quality is very good and consistent. What we like most about Shimadzu is the outstanding quality of the components and the superior uptime. Reliability and robustness are key to us, and Shimadzu instruments and services has delivered beyond all expectations.
