Analytical instruments, inspection systems, and testing machines are the ideal response for extensive evaluation requirements from development to quality.
The technologies used extensively in automobiles are refined and innovated on an ongoing basis to improve safety and comfort and to reduce the impact on the environment. At production sites, too, competition to build reliable automobile parts quickly and cheaply is becoming more and more intense.
Shimadzu is expertised to provide instruments for the automobile industry to evaluate a wide range of automobile parts and materials.
During the Car Symposium in Bochum we will introduce you to our world of evaluation applications and also the substantial lineup of analytical, inspection, and testing machines designed to ensure perfection in the final products.
Oral Presentation

„Advanced testing solutions for fatigue performance assessment of automotive application materials: composites and hybrid structures“.
Dipl.-Ing. Daniel Hülsbusch
Chief Engineer, TU Dortmund University, Materials Test Engineering (WPT)
Product Lineup
Recording speed of 10 million frames/second, the highest in its class
- larger, clearer, high-sensitivity recording
- equipped with synchronized recording function, and high-level analytical capabilities that accommodate a variety of software programs
With Universal/Tensile Testers like the AG-X plus Series, AGS-X Series and the Table-top EZ Test Series, Capillary Flow and Endurance Testers, and a variety of Micro Hardness Testers like the DUH-211 Series, the choice is yours.
Makes it possible to perform a standard 10⁸ cycle fatigue test in only 1,5 hours. Consequently, it is possible to evaluate 10⁹ to 10¹⁰ order fatigue strength, where it had been difficult to obtain data before. Also, data for 10⁷ cycles can be obtained in about ten minutes.
