Congenital metabolic diseases are now detectable by newborn screening tests, especially the expanded testing using mass spectrometry like liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry-based technologies.
Aside Inborn Error of Metabolism, Shimadzu is also investigating the topic of inherited blood disorders and diseases that primarily affect red blood cells. We take the opportunity to introduce here new analytical solutions to fight against these diseases.
