15-19 June | Bruges, Belgium
The 54th International Symposium on High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) is known as the world’s leading conference on liquid phase separations. Since its inception in 1973, the HPLC conference has become a cornerstone for the global scientific community, focusing on advancements in HPLC and related techniques, as well as their hyphenation with advanced detection technologies, including mass spectrometry and data treatments.
From June 15th to 19th, 2025, the charming city of Bruges will host the next edition of this renowned symposium. The conference will bring together preeminent scientists, researchers, and industry experts from around the world to share their latest research findings, innovative methodologies, and to foster engaging discussions. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the latest technological advancements, exchange valuable insights, and network with leading professionals in the field.
This meeting serves as an exceptional platform for participants to stay at the forefront of HPLC technology and its applications, ensuring they are well-equipped with the knowledge and connections needed to drive future innovations in separation science.
Prof. Melvin R Euerby, Visiting Professor University of Strathclyde and The Open University
If you are relatively new to the technique or looking to deepen your knowledge on RP HPLC, then sign up for this short course. Mel Euerby is an outstanding teacher who will deliver the initial theory session in an informal and interactive manner. In the afternoon, the theoretical learning will be followed by a practical part, where participants are given the opportunity to use “state of the art” instrumentation via link to the Shimadzu Laboratory World in Duisburg (Germany) to consolidate what they have learnt in the morning. Don't miss out on this opportunity - our colleagues are looking forward to meeting you there!
Supercritical Fluid Chromatography (SFC) is gaining attention as a greener, faster, and more efficient alternative to traditional techniques like RP-LC-MS/MS. It offers reduced solvent use, clearer insights into pesticide residues, and expanded sensitivity for certain compounds. With state-of-the-art instruments and new software tools, simplifying method development, SFC is tackling past challenges, opening doors to broader applications in compound separation. Whether for pesticide analysis or peptide studies, SFC is proving to be a reliable and sustainable technique for modern analytical workflows.
We are thrilled to announce the winners of the Shimadzu student sponsorship for free tickets to attend the HPLC 2025 conference. We received a great number of high-quality abstracts, showcasing the innovative research being conducted by students all over Europe.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and look forward to their contributions at the conference. To those who were not selected this time, we encourage you to continue your excellent work and apply again in the future.
