Title: It’s a reasonable challenge, can we make tissue metabolomics data processing better?
Metabolomic data processing workflows present recognised challenges and the need to address the question of ‘how to find the highest metabolome coverage with the highest reporting confidence?’. In this presentation, we will highlight data workflows in the context of tissue metabolomics using high resolution LC-MS/MS methods applied to recent metabolite profiling studies and how different separation techniques, in house MS/MS libraries and different approaches in curating data sets can make a marked difference in the reported outcome.
